What is this warranty?
The heater product warranty is the manufacturer’s warranty on the gas water heater unit itself. This covers defects in the heater’s internal components — the heat exchanger, the ignition system, the gas valve assembly inside the unit, the electronic control board, and other factory-assembled parts.
This warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer, not by Homeone. Homeone facilitates the warranty registration and assists with warranty claims during the warranty period, but the warranty obligation is between the customer and the manufacturer.

How the warranties work together
Homeone workmanship warranties: Cover the gas connections, water connections, and electrical connections Homeone installed. 1 year, on-site, next business day.
Manufacturer warranty: Covers the heater unit itself — internal components, manufacturing defects. 2 years for Rinnai, 1 year for other brands. Handled directly with the manufacturer.
The two warranty types cover different things. A gas leak at a pipe joint is S/N 15. A heater that won't ignite is S/N 18. Homeone assists with both.
