1 year on-site warranty on all gas works — what it covers, how it works, and what triggers a callback.

What is covered

The gas work warranty covers all gas-related workmanship performed by Homeone during the gas water heater replacement. This includes the gas valve, the gas pipe union removal, the gas pipe replacement and all fittings, and all gas connections made during the installation.

If any gas leak develops at any joint or connection within Homeone’s scope of work within 365 days of the installation date, Homeone dispatches a technician to rectify the problem at zero cost to the customer.

Response time

Next business day response. Homeone aims to have a technician on site within one business day of the warranty claim being reported. Gas leaks are treated as priority callbacks.

If it's at a connection Homeone installed, it's covered — 1 year, on-site, next business day, zero cost.

💬 Every gas connection is pressure tested before handover. If it leaks after, we fix it free.

What triggers a callback

  • Gas smell near any connection within Homeone’s scope of work
  • Visible gas leak detected by a gas detector at any joint Homeone installed
  • Gas valve failure (handle broken, valve not closing, weeping gas)
  • Any gas-related issue traced back to workmanship on the components Homeone installed

What is not covered

  • Gas leaks at the gas meter or gas meter union (these are the gas supplier’s responsibility)
  • Gas leaks at the cooking hob or other gas appliances not installed by Homeone
  • Damage caused by third-party work on the gas installation after Homeone’s handover
  • Gas appliance faults (these are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty

Why the charge is $0.00

The warranty is included in the package price. It is not a separate charge because it is not a separate service — it is Homeone’s commitment to stand behind the work. Every gas connection Homeone makes is tested with the final pressure test and certified before handover. The warranty is the assurance that if anything develops after the test, Homeone comes back and fixes it.
