1 year on-site warranty on all electrical works — what it covers, how it works, and what triggers a callback.

What is covered

The electrical work warranty covers all electrical workmanship performed by Homeone during the gas water heater replacement. This includes the equipotential bonding on the metal gas and water pipes and all electrical connections inspected during the installation.

If any bonding cable detaches, any earth clamp loosens, or any electrical connection within Homeone’s scope of work fails within 365 days of the installation date, Homeone dispatches a technician to rectify the problem at zero cost to the customer.

What triggers a callback

  • Bonding cable detached or loose on the gas or water pipe
  • Earth clamp corroded, broken, or no longer making contact
  • Any electrical fault traced back to workmanship on connections Homeone installed or inspected

What is not covered

  • Electrical supply faults from the mains or the building’s distribution board
  • Communication cable faults (these are quoted and warrantied separately if replaced)
  • Damage caused by third-party work on the electrical installation after Homeone’s handover
  • Water heater internal electrical faults (covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, S/N 18)

Why the charge is $0.00

The warranty is included in the package price. Every electrical connection is installed under the supervision of an EMA Licensed Electrical Worker and inspected before handover. The warranty is the assurance that if anything develops after the inspection, Homeone comes back and fixes it.
