Upon inspection of the Indoor Rinnai REU-10CFA, our licensed gas specialists identified the following issues:
Over 18 Years of Operation – The heater had exceeded its expected service lifespan, confirmed by the manufacture date.
Corrosion and Wear – The heater body and fittings showed significant corrosion due to prolonged use.
Rusty Piping – The connected piping was visibly rusted, raising concerns over long-term safety and water quality.
Difficult-to-Operate Valves – Both the gas valve and water stop valve were stiff and corroded, compromising safe operation.
Discontinued Model – The Rinnai REU-10CFA is no longer available in the market, making parts replacement and servicing impractical.
These conditions made the old heater unsafe and inefficient, requiring a full replacement.
All works were supervised out by Homeone ’s Licensed Gas Service Workers (LGSWs) in compliance with EMA safety standards, PUB regulations, and the Gas Supply Regulations of Singapore.
