Installation Fee - What does $399 cover?

It covers the labour to swap your gas water heater

The SGD 399 installation fee covers the full labour involved in swapping your gas water heater — from delivery to disposal. It is a flat fee for a complete job, not a base rate that grows with add-ons. Here is exactly what is included, and how it compares to what the utility provider charges for the same work.

What the SGD 399 Installation Fee Covers

1
Delivery
The new unit is delivered directly to your premises. You do not need to arrange separate transport or be present at a collection point.
2
Disconnection
All gas, water, and electrical services connected to the existing heater are safely disconnected before removal begins.
3
Safe Removal
The old gas water heater is removed safely by the technician. This is not left to the homeowner — the old unit comes down as part of the job.
4
Mounting
The new gas water heater is mounted in the correct position, including any repositioning required to accommodate the new unit's dimensions.
5
Reconnection
All gas, water, and electrical services are reconnected to the new unit with supervision by a Licensed Gas Service Worker. This step includes the final pressure test and Certificate of Gas Safety.
6
Disposal
The old gas water heater is taken away and disposed of properly. Nothing is left behind for the homeowner to manage.
