The homeowner at Beacon Heights reported a leaking Rheem EH-55M storage water heater located above the ceiling, which had caused visible water damage to the ceiling. Upon contacting Homeone for a solution, we conducted a thorough site assessment to determine the source of the leak—whether it was due to faulty fittings or a pressure relief valve (PRV), both of which are repairable, or if the tank itself was compromised. Our assessment confirmed that the tank was leaking, necessitating a full replacement. The customer opted for a new Rheem EHG-40S storage water heater.
