A Djitsun Mall shop owner encountered significant water damage when their Joven JSH91 water heater developed a leak from excessive water pressure and a blocked drainpipe, voiding the manufacturer’s warranty. Joven Water Heater Leaking Replacement

Customer Report:

A shop owner at Djitsun Mall (5 Ang Mo Kio Central 2) reported a Joven water heater leaking from the ceiling above the staff bathroom. The Joven JSH91 unit was still under the manufacturer’s warranty, but a joint site assessment by Homeone Technician and Joven®’s in-charge personnel revealed the leak voided the warranty due to two critical issues:

Missing Pressure Reducing Valve – High water supply pressure damaged the heater.
Choked Drainpipe – The shared drainpipe (connected to other heaters) was blocked, increasing internal pressure.

To resolve the issue permanently, we recommended:
