Site Findings of Gas Water Heater HDB
When the homeowner at Blk 22 Ghim Moh Link reported that their Gas Water Heater HDB unit was not producing any hot water, our licensed team from Homeone carried out a detailed site inspection.
The findings included:
No Hot Water & Beeping Error Codes – The old indoor Macro water heater displayed error codes with continuous beeping, a sign of system failure.
Corroded Heater Exterior – After more than 10 years of use, the unit was visibly corroded (as seen in the photo), indicating end-of-life deterioration.
Rusty Piping – The connected piping was heavily rusted, raising safety concerns and reducing reliability.
Hard-to-Operate Valves – Both the gas valve and water stop valves had become stiff and corroded, making them unsafe and difficult to use.
